Bio

Amae Love is an eclectic singer / songwriter with a sultry,

soulful voice that embodies a modern approach to soul,

blues, R&B and jazz. Similar to artists like Amy

Winehouse & Adele, Amae takes the best of that classic

vintage sound and combines it with soulful, bluesy melodies

paired with positive & empowering lyrics. She likes to call

this style “Singin’ the Purples” as in: a higher consciousness

version of the blues. Amae is a multi-faceted talent whose

skills as performer include Improvisation, MC’ing, hoop

dance, DJ’ing, Dance, and guitar.

Amae’s musical career has been vast & varied. Having

performed professionally since the age of 11, Amae has

performed everywhere from Disneyland to Padres games,

sang radio jingles and opened up for the Drifters, all

before graduating high school. Amae relocated to

Los Angeles in 2001 and performed with electronica-funk

trio Animastik for several years, co-writing over 40 original

tunes, recording several demos and a full-length album.

Amae has also graced the stage playing at local venues

such as the Viper Room, the Knitting factory and the

Key Club, and large-scale Seminars such as the

Enlightened wealth retreat, at charity galas,

political events, and weddings.

Amae recently performed at the West Coast festival

circuit, and the Oregon Shakespeare Festival’s.

Opening up for Zap Mama at Earthdance Festival,

and the Theivery Corporation. Amae’s recent Solo

and group performances have included The Bagatelle

in Vegas, Envision Festival, Harmony Festival,

Lightning in a Bottle, the Raw Spirit Festival, Emrg-n-see,

Alchemeyez, Mystic Garden Party, Burning Man, Beloved,

Horning’s Hideout, & Bali Spirit Festival.

Amae made the difficult decision to go solo after 4 years

with Animastik. Soon after she won an award for

“Best Music Video” in Elevate film festival 2006, for her

Hip-pop anthem about being an artist in LA, “Concrete

Flowers.” All the videos for this consciousness-raising

festival were shot and edited in a mere 48 hours.

In addition to her music career, Amae is a longtime health,

environmentalist, and foodie. She is also known to make

people laugh. Amae’s passion for food/health/consciousness

continues, she recently made another recipe video,

“consciousness cake”. Amae Love also designs peacock

feather jewelry and stylish, comfortable clothing which

Bruce Hathcock, was born and raised in Los Angeles,

California. After being homeless a few times, Bruce

was able to overcome his hardship, by focusing his

hard work and attention on his God given talents of

voice and music. Bruce Hathcock's diversive musical

influences range from Joni Mitchell, Jimi Hendrix,

George Benson, Prince to rap icons such as N.W.A.

and Bone Thugs-n-Harmony.

Bruce demonstrates his diverse influences by way

of his music, lyrics, vocals and as a multi instrumentalist.

He has been freatured on several independent projects,

mix Cd's including LA's famious DJ Warrior Mix,

Marilyn Manson, Missy Elliot, Eazy E, Pharcyde,

Randy Jackson, Angie Stone, Lady of Rage,

BE Natural, Another Level, Royce the 59, Sleepy Brown,

Bruce released his own mix CD titled "Explicit",

with Bone Thugs-n-Harmony producer DJ U-Neek who

is responsible for hits such as Thuggish Ruggish Bone,

First of the Month, and the Grammy Award Winning

Two years later Bruce Hathcock completed "Miracle Mile".

Off and running "Miracle Mile" hit the Billboard charts,

while Bruce had no major deal. He used pure hustle, passion,

and commitment. "Miracle Mile" illustrates his musical

diversity and his unique blend of Soul, Hip Hop, and Rock.

Bruce currentyly resides in Sydney, Australia, where

he released "Loving The Ninteties" and his latest

EP Compilation "Alright Now". This is a mixture of

unreleased Alternitve Rock, Pop, and Soul songs.

Bruce Hathcock- Co-Founder Lead and Background

Vocals & Guitar. Bruce is a L.A. native nurtured

in and around music, he creates a unique bone-chilling

vocal style reminiscent of Sam Cooke, Stevie Wonder,

and Marvin Gaye. He also plays guitar that acts as the

brush to the colorful picture his words paint on the

mental canvas.

Steve "E" Ross- Co-Founder Background Vocals Bass,

Keyboards, & Vocal, Steve "E", embodies true

musicianship. Originally from Chi town, his musical

background includes training at Santa Monica College,

the prestigious UCLA program, Musicians Institute and

CR8 Music Academy. Steve "E"'s impeccable ear and musical

talents are expressive through out his music production

Christina Gaillard- Drums, Percussion, & Vocals.

This California girl provides beauty and the "BE NATURAL"

beat. Hailing from multi-generations of jazz and blues

musicians, Christina plays with a power and passion

that inspires.

Dameon "DJ Stones" Hale- Break Beats, Scratches,

& Effects A graduate of Sound-master Engineering School,

DJ Stones was founder of the Priority Record's hip-hop

group, "Anotha Level" and has since gone on to work

with the best from LayLaw to Ice Cube. His turntables

now round out the sound of "BE NATURAL".

Sheldon August- Lead Guitar & the silent member of

"BE NATURAL." Raised on reggae and calypso in

Central America, it was a thirteen year-old Sheldon

who began his love affair with music and developed

his talents on drums, and piano, before expanding to

guitar that drip with conviction and honesty.

"BE NATURAL" is the SPIRITUAL journey of musicians

who imagine beyond their physical dimension. Their music

missions to uplift listeners through words and rhythms that

offer a heaven where being conscious is acceptable and

encouraged. "BE NATURAL" strives to be a voice for

the PEOPLE. Their music parallels their struggles as well

as their enlightenment.
